Location : Kootenay Street Village, Cranbrook BC

Employment : Permanent, Full-time

Start Dates : Work experience begins February 2026, with studies starting April 2026

Hourly Rate : $24.80

Education : $930.00 per week during the classroom / online studies

Program Details

• Program runs for 10-18 months and provides both on-the-job training and education.
• Successful completion makes you eligible to apply for registration with the BC Care Aide and Community Health Worker Registry.
• Work as a regular, full-time Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) while earning $24.80 / hour.
• Obtain required practicum hours while supporting clients, residents, and their families.
• While attending classroom or online studies, receive an educational allowance of $930.00 / week (paid bi-weekly).
