What You’ll Be Doing

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Wash / Clean pump and power equipment (generators, dewatering and sewage pumps, etc.) when it’s returned.
  • Maintain a clean and organized equipment yard and wash bay area.
  • Assist drivers with loading and unloading equipment.
  • Operate heavy-duty forklift.
  • Check equipment for damage upon return, report damage and fill out service tags for all returned equipment.
  • Assist with inventory management.
  • Deliver small equipment and tools if needed.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with inventory reconciliation.

    • What You’ll Bring to the Team

    Qualifications And Requirements

  • Valid Class G driver’s license is an asset, with a clean or satisfactory driver’s abstract (no more than 3 demerit points). You’ll be required to provide a copy of your updated driver’s abstract upon request.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods. Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs.
  • Forklift license or experience operating forklifts is an asset.
  • Must be comfortable with working outdoors year-round.
  • Mechanical aptitude and / or previous experience operating equipment is an asset.
  • Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Highly adaptable and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter, very customer-service oriented and works well in a team environment.
  • Curiosity to learn new things & understand more about construction equipment and the rental industry.
  • Comfortable with computers / technology (for filling out inspections, inventory management, etc.)
  • Familiarity with inventory systems, shipping / receiving, and warehouse best practices is an asset.
