Join the team as a Lean & Continuous Improvement Technician Co-op at INNIO Group.

Reporting to the Continuous Improvement Manager, you will support manufacturing operations by designing and fabricating manufacturing aids and contributing to lean and process improvement projects.

Co‑op Term Duration

January 2026 – May 2026

Essential Responsibilities

• Using CAD software to design manufacturing aids such as shadow boards and jigs.
• Safely operating a CNC router to complete fabrication projects with various materials.
• Using hand tools to assemble signage, dashboards, and fixtures.
• Conducting time studies and workflow analyses to identify bottlenecks and recommend Lean improvements (e.g., waste reduction, process standardization).
• Actively participating in and supporting Continuous Improvement and Lean initiatives and driving change within the organization.
• Assisting in the implementation and sustainment of Lean tools (e.g., 5S, visual management, standard work).
• Supporting the Continuous Improvement Department with administrative and project‑management tasks as required.
• Collecting and analyzing process data, preparing reports and presenting results.
