ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Director – Building Services, the Supervisor – Building Services will work closely with the Managers of Building Services to coordinate inspections, maintenance, and repair services for all related equipment for The Heritage Site (which includes The Manor House, PR Cook Apartments, Bethammi Nursing Home, and the commercial retail spaces within the facility), Oliver Road facility, the Lodge on Dawson, Amethyst House, and Balmoral Centre.

WHAT YOU BRING

Education / Experience :

• Post secondary degree or diploma in engineering, engineering or construction technology, or technical school graduation
• Membership in an affiliated professional association relating to the work requirements or ability to obtain (e.g. OACETT, PEO, CHES)
• Minimum three years of experience in institutional or commercial maintenance, preferably in a unionized environment
• Proven experience in current and active Building Code Identification Number (BCIN) as per the regulations of the Building Code Act
• Experience in the management of facility or equipment upgrades with knowledge of construction methods, documentation processes, and related legislation
