Inside Sales Supervisor

The Opportunity

Provide leadership to his / her team of inside sales representatives by ensuring the pre-established sales goals and targets are attained.

The Role

• Manage the performance of the team, providing coaching, training and development
• Process daily inquiries for sales quotations, quote customers on products using the Pricing Matrixes and then enter quotes in quote log.
• Enter and expedite customer sales orders when necessary.
• Research products for the outside sales department and make suggestions for purchase.
• Attend monthly sales meeting with outside sales.
• Analyze sales results for the inside sales team.
• Negotiate pricing or adjust price if required to remain competitive.
• Provide technical support when required to inside, outside sales teams and customer.
• Resolve escalated customer / supplier issues and computer problems.
• Purchase products for customer from suppliers.
• Search the inventory levels at various suppliers in the United States using an internet-based application if the customer requires an emergency product order.
• Assist with internal audits of the department as required.
• Assess quotes provided and the margins of the products in the quotes with employees, providing suggestions for improvement or an increase in margin.
• Prepare sales training for employees (lunch and learn, etc.).
• Ensure that Wajax ISO Standards for the region are updated and maintained on an annual basis.

The Candidate

Education : Post-secondary education from a technical college, trade school or university

Work Experience : Minimum of 5 years related experience in a sales support role in an industrial field with 3 years in a supervisory capacity

Knowledge : knowledge of industrial components
