Job Description

AECOM is seeking a highly experienced Senior Design Manager / Technical Advisor to join our team. This role can be done on a "hybrid" basis meaning, a combination of work from home and work out of any of our Ontario offices.

Job Summary :

We are seeking an individual with a strong engineering background, expertise in owner's engineering, a proven track record in underground subway station design, familiarity with LEAN design and construction methods, and experience in Progressive Design Build (PDB) or Design-Build (DB). The ideal candidate will also actively participate in working groups on behalf of the owner to review, discuss, and contribute to design decisions.

Major Responsibilities :

Owner'S Engineering Leadership :

• Leverage extensive experience in engineering to oversee the review of design deliverables, ensuring compliance with owner requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the owner's engineering team to provide valuable insights and recommendations, particularly in the context of underground subway station design.

Design Compliance Review :

Rfi Coordination :

Shop Drawing Reviews :

Progressive Design Build (PDB) or Design-Build (DB) :

Lean Design And Construction Methods :

Active Participation In Working Groups :
