Senior PLC Programmer

What you'll get to do

• Collaborate Across Disciplines : Work closely with mechanical and controls engineering experts, as well as skilled trades professionals, throughout the programming, tryout, and installation phases of projects.
• PLC Programming and Debugging : Execute PLC logic and programming tasks during the build and debug stages at our facilities and at customer sites during installation and launch phases.
• Enhance Control Systems : Introduce programming enhancements to controls and logic systems based on customer changes or evolving manufacturing requirements.
• Smart Device Integration : Configure and set up smart devices such as cameras, nut runners, and drives, integrating them into active projects.
• Data Management : Collect data from machines according to specific customer requirements.
• System Validation : Identify and resolve system issues, conduct tryouts, and validate I / O signals and interference zones.
• Documentation : Thoroughly document all control logic changes in collaboration with the engineering team.
• End-User Training : Train PLC end-users at customer locations, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
• Travel Support : Travel locally and internationally to customer sites to provide on-site assistance, ensuring successful project execution.
