The Parts Manager is responsible for the success of his/her store’s parts business. The Parts Manager is an experienced leader who understands the importance of strong relationships with service, sales and Delta Power Equipment customers. He/she oversees inventory management, showroom maintenance, warranty/recalls, daily customer service and the store’s overall parts business.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
- Assume responsibility for all aspects of the Parts Department, including overseeing Parts Advisors and the flow of paperwork.
- Plan and execute parts sales objectives in keeping with dealership policies, emphasizing quality of service.
- Constantly check inventory levels and help monitor maximum true turns and acceptable levels of customer service.
- Assume responsibility for all parts to be returned and use return allowances to a maximum level.
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment in the parts areas.
- Assist in analyzing storage layout for maximum usage of space.
- Assists technicians with the selection of parts, and informs customers about the product line.
- Any other job-related activities as requested by the Parts Complex Team.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- Previous parts experience or experience in a similar job function.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team.
- Has a general understanding of farm equipment systems and parts.
- Experience and knowledge in Electronic Parts Catalogue.
- Solid computer skills (including Microsoft Office)
- Knowledge of Agriculture would be an asset.
