Accounting Clerk

Robert Half is in search of an Accountant to work with one of our top clients, a CPA firm in the North York area. This is a full time permanent opportunity. As key member of this small team you will be working directly with the partners taking a client file from start to finish. Must Haves:

• Fluent in Korean
• Prepare Notice to Reader Financial Statements
• Complete Review Engagements in accordance with ASPE
• Reconciliation of HST, payroll and corporate tax accounts
• 3+ years' experience in a similar role
• End-to-end month end closing for multiple entities
• Self-starter, ability to identify issues and resolve problems
• Caseware and Caseview experience required
• Strong MS Office Suite skills including excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice-To-Haves:

• Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns as well as other type of returns (T3, T4,s T5s)
• Set up new client accounts
• Provide customer service to clients by liaising and handling client inquiries
• Experience working within a small or mid size public accounting
• Experience completing review engagement and NTRs
• Experience preparing personal and corporate tax returns
• Preference will be given to candidates with a CPA designation or in final stages of completion of CPA
