Donna Cona Inc. is currently seeking an Application / Software Architect (Data & AI Solutions), Level 3, for one of our key government clients. To provide some possible methods of adding forms, policy and guidance documents to the Regulatory Platform, including pros and cons of different options and documented architecture and methodology for the chosen option, if any is determined to be feasible.

Candidate MUST have the following:

• Must Have Reliability Security clearance;
• Worked as an Application / Software Architect on a minimum of 3 different projects involving Machine Learning and Data Engineering, of at least 3 months duration each within the last seven (7) years; and
• At least 12 months (1 year) of experience within the last seven (7) years working in each the following technologies and methodologies: Microsoft Azure; Databricks; Data engineering; Full stack development; DevOps Principles (source control, CI/CD); and Machine Learning.

Candidate SHOULD have the following experience:

• Attend team standup meetings to share progress and note blockages;
• Meet with stakeholders (regulatory experts, IT teams) to gather information and understand the business problem and validate the direction taken;
• Identify and define data sources, data flows, data structures, and any data transformation required to address the business problem;
• Monitor government and industry technology trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology;
• Analyze and evaluate technology options, including possible AI/ML approaches, and changes to the web application front end, to solve the defined business problem;
• Ensure proposed approaches for data and AI fit with Enterprise Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (eBIDA) platform;
• Provide weekly progress reports while working on the options analysis (fill Word template) and meet with the project technical authority as needed;
• Document the options analysis, including pros and cons of each option, possible costs, and recommendations;
• Develop and document technical architectures that address data flow (includes transformation), data structures, data integration, machine learning or other AI, business logic, and presentation layers. In so doing, Identify and document system specific standards relating to programming, documentation and testing, covering program libraries, data dictionaries, naming conventions, etc.;
• Ensure the integration of all aspects of the technology solution with the current Regulatory Platform;
• Identify requirements for data warehousing (how data is ingested, structured, and stored) and integration with Enterprise Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (eBIDA) platform;
• Advise programmers, analysts, and users about the interaction of architecture components;
• Ensure the solution architecture meets performance and scalability requirements while being as cost-effective as possible; and
• Ensure architecture is approved by architecture review boards or other approval bodies.
