Our valued crown corporation client is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support the installation & configuration of Dynatrace to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure!
Initial 3 year contract in Ottawa, ON with strong possibility of extension to a total term of 4 years. 7.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday. On-Call and Overtime may be required (with advance notice). Local candidates with the ability to work on-site three days / week in a hybrid model will be prioritized however % remote options will be available.
As the successful candidate, you will work with other application and operational experts to ensure the highest level of availability, reliability, security, and scalability of various financial applications and products.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee the installation and configuration of Dynatrace to ensure seamless integration with existing systems and infrastructure
- Analyze application performance requirements and customize monitoring thresholds, alerts, and dashboards to align with operational objectives and business needs
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve monitoring-related issues, collaborate with development team and other IT teams to ensure minimal downtime and optimized performance
- Develop detailed documentation for monitoring processes and setups, and provide knowledge transfer to internal staff to ensure effective use and maintenance of the monitoring tools
Must-Have Skills :
5+ years of recent experience in managing application performance monitoring (APM) tools such as DynatraceDemonstrated experience working with log management platforms such as Syslog-NG and SplunkNice to Have Skills :
Demonstrated experience working in Agile projects (SCRUM)Demonstrated experience with monitoring (e.g. SCOM, Solarwinds, Datadog) and loggingDemonstrated experience in software development backgroundDemonstrated experience with IT infrastructure projectsDemonstrated experience with delivery in SaaS environmentsDemonstrated experience with DevOps (Jenkins, GitHUB)
