The Opportunity

We are seeking Mill Services Superintendent to support our Whitby plant. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Mill Services Superintendent will organize and direct all safety, quality, and productivity requirements for the department, focusing on Effluent treatment and Boiler systems with the Boiler Chief and Production Engineer as direct reports working in conjunction with the Maintenance Planners and other indirect reports.

What you'll do

• Focus on TPM (total productive manufacturing) working as a team completing RCAs to eliminate failure points and driving towards our environmental compliance and uptime goals.
• Leadership & Operational Oversight
• Supervise effluent treatment operators, power engineers, and utility personnel.
• Ensure round-the-clock operation of wastewater treatment, steam plant / boilers, compressed air, cooling water, and related systems.
• Coordinate with production departments to manage influent loading, process upsets, and utility demands.
• Lead daily operations meetings and provide direction on priorities.

Hiring Range : $115, 000 - $140,000 per year. A candidate’s experience and knowledge may be factored into the pay a candidate receives for this position. This posting is for an existing vacancy.
