Position Summary

In support of the Mission and Vision of SyBridge Technologies Inc., the Fixture Assembler is responsible for reading designs and guiding a team of assistants to assemble checking fixtures. Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Assembler ensures first-time quality is a priority each time while adhering to health and safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize the work area of components and details
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications for fixtures
• The use of hand tools to secure measure and assemble fixtures
• Ability to run Bridgeport, Lathe, and Grinding machines
• Help maintain 5S standards of cleanliness / safety.
• Setup / teardown workpieces, check the condition of tooling, and replace when necessary.
• Fill out checklists for quality and inspect, and report deviation from standards to the leader.
• Assist in the department for required grinding and machining
• Maintain the equipment by completing basic preventive maintenance requirements; following the manufacturer's instructions, initiating repair work orders, etc.
• Participate in required meetings and training, as requested.
