Description de poste
  • Review, manage and deliver multiple complex engagements, including accounting, bookkeeping, payroll and sales tax mandates
  • Review complex corporate, personal, partnership and trust tax returns
  • Resolve semi-complex technical issues and escalate unresolved complex issues to the appropriate person
  • Possess the reflexes to look for tax planning opportunities
  • Be aware of mandate terms such as budget and deadlines and work within these parameters
  • Understand overall objectives of client mandates and client expectations
  • Ensure client issues and / or opportunities are communicated to engagement principals and partners
  • Ensure team and resources are appropriately managed to support profitability of the business
  • Identify client needs on current engagements and propose value-added solutions
  • Ensure team is aware of changes in tax laws and accounting pronouncements
  • Actively participate in knowledge transfer activities such as developing learning sessions and delivering lectures

    • Qualifications

    • CPA, CA / CGA / CMA designation
    • A minimum 2 year work experience in a similar position
    • Bilingual (French and English)
    • Strong technical skills
    • Sense of organization and priorities
    • Ability to multi-task
    • Team work oriented
    • Strong communication skills
    • Good judgment
    • Good knowledge of Excel / Caseware / Caseview / Taxprep
