Experienced ETL Tester opportunity in the insurance industry focused on finance systems and data validation. Leverage your SQL ETL and relational database skills in a dynamic high-impact environment. Work on-site in Markham three days a week. Ideal for candidates with P&C insurance expertise and Agile experience.

What is in it for you :

Salaried : $65-70 per hour.

Incorporated Business Rate : $75-80 per hour.

6-month contract.

Full-time position : 37.50 hours per week.

Hybrid model 3 days per week on-site subject to change.

Responsibilities :

Analyze business and functional requirements specific to P&C insurance products including personal and commercial auto and property.

Design and execute manual test cases for finance and insurance applications.

Perform functional regression integration backend and UAT testing.

Conduct API and backend testing to validate data integrity and system integrations.

Collaborate with business analysts developers and product owners to ensure test coverage and quality.

Identify and document defects using tools such as JIRA and work with development teams for resolution.

Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.

Support delivery timelines by adapting to project demands including occasional extended work hours when required.

What you will need to succeed :

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.

3 6 years of experience in ETL testing for Data Warehouse and Data Mart applications.

3 years of ETL testing experience with any ETL tools.

Strong proficiency in SQL for data validation and backend testing.

Experience working with relational databases such as Oracle SQL Server and Postgres.

Strong domain knowledge of P&C insurance including underwriting rating billing and claims.

Knowledge of state-specific P&C insurance regulations.

Experience with test case design execution and defect management.

Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced insurance environment.

Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to identifying issues and improvements.

Knowledge of CI / CD pipelines and Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Nice to have : Experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium.

Willingness and ability to work extended hours when necessary to meet critical project deadlines.
