About the role

As a Senior Strategic Business Portfolio Manager, you will report to the Director of Strategic Business Development and work closely with his team and the entire ecosystem that enables Intact Insurance to position itself as a leader in its strategic distribution network.

This role offers you a high degree of autonomy, exposure and career development opportunities, while playing a key role in managing a portfolio of business projects focused on strategic distribution. You will be responsible for developing impactful content and supporting strategic initiatives, including Authorized Agencies.

Responsibilities :

Collaborate with management to orchestrate governance and steering committees.

Actively plan portfolio and multi-year roadmap development.

Produce compelling content for captivating and informative presentations to our strategic distribution network and all ecosystem stakeholders.

Collaborate with management to document, implement and monitor required actions.

Carry out ad hoc strategic missions as required.

Research and organize industry trends and competitive benchmarks to inform strategic decisions.

Progressively assume increased responsibilities, demonstrating your ability to manage increasingly complex projects.

Qualifications and skills :

Minimum 5 years' experience in operations, project management or related field.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to interact effectively with senior management.

Autonomous and proactive, with the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Strong spirit of empathy, inclusiveness and ability to work as part of a team.

Bilingualism (French-English) required to interact regularly with colleagues across the country.

No Canadian work experience required, but Canadian work authorization is required.
