Job Title : Construction Technician Job Description

We are seeking a versatile and skilled individual to join our team as a Construction Technician. In this role, you will assist in the building of modular construction units, utilizing your handy skills to support tradespeople and ensure the successful completion of projects. You will engage in a variety of tasks using hand and power tools, performing basic wiring, plumbing, assembly, and building of units.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the construction and assembly of modular units.
• Perform basic wiring and plumbing tasks.
• Utilize hand and power tools effectively.
• Support tradespeople with various construction tasks.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.

Work Environment

You will work primarily outdoors in the yard and in bays, experiencing varying temperatures. While collaboration with others is sometimes required, you will mostly work independently. Personal protective equipment such as steel-toed boots and typical construction clothing, including long sleeve shirts, are mandatory. The shift runs from 1 : 00 PM to 9 : 30 PM, Monday to Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gormley, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 / hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Gormley,ON.
