Implementation Specialist (Infrastructure)

Work Type : Contract ~3 months

Location : Onsite, across Canada

Start : January 19th

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Implementation Specialist, to join our client, a leading global technology company specializing in enterprise infrastructure, hardware, and IT solutions. This role involves delivering infrastructure deployment services across Canada. This is a hands‑on, customer‑facing role with extensive travel and opportunities to work with cutting‑edge technologies.

Responsibilities

Deploy infrastructure solutions onsite for customers
Install and cable rack‑mounted servers, switches, and storage systems
Work with VMware environments (VCP certification a plus)
Install and configure SAN / NAS storage and Fiber Channel switches
Troubleshoot servers, storage, and networking (Layer 1 & 2)
Collaborate independently or as part of a team to ensure successful deployments

Required Skills

5+ years of infrastructure deployment or related IT experience

Strong communication, customer service, and problem‑solving skills

Experience with servers, storage, networking, and virtualization

Ability to learn new technologies quickly

Eligible for Canada Federal Clearance

Willingness to travel up to 75% across Canada (car / plane)

French language proficiency preferred

Preferred Qualifications

VMware Certified Professional (VCP)

Prior experience in customer‑facing technical roles
