Grade / Class / Rate of Pay :

EA4 – Band 11 - $39.33 per hour – ($43.26 per hour Includes skilled trades premium, based on 2026 rates)

EA4 – Band 10 - $38.19 per hour (Apprenticeship) - ($42.01 per hour - Includes skilled trades premium, based on 2026 rates)

Hours of Work per Week : 40 hours

Shift Work Required : Yes

Duties and Responsibilities :

Reporting to the Fleet Supervisors, this position will be responsible for :

• Carrying out all functions of a fully Certified Automotive Service Technician and / or Apprentice.
• Maintaining and completing manual and computerized records of repairs as required by a computerized fleet management system.
• Carrying out related work as directed including preventive maintenance, diagnostic investigations, service, mandatory and statutory maintenance and repair.
• Maintaining complies with current Provincial safety legislation.
• Maintain amiable relations with customers, the public and fellow staff.
• Will perform Occupational Health & Safety duties as outlined in the Corporation’s Health and Safety Program.
• Will perform other related duties as required.
