Position Overview

Registered Veterinary Technician – Full‑time, 4‑day week with rotating Saturday shifts at Vetcor / Strathroy Animal Clinic.

Salary : $22.00 – $25.00 per hour, based on experience and licensure.
Role : Registered Veterinary Technician.
Status : Full‑time.
Schedule : Flexible 4‑day work week with rotating Saturday shifts.

What You'll Do

Provide top‑tier patient care, including anesthesia support, dental cleanings, radiographs, in‑house lab work, and diagnostics.

Assist in surgeries and provide nursing care for hospitalized patients.

Administer medications, injections, and treatments.

Educate clients on pet care, treatment plans, and preventive medicine.

Support and train new team members; maintain a clean, safe, organized clinical environment.

Communicate with warmth, clarity, and confidence; handle challenging situations with calmness.

Qualifications

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in good standing with the OAVT.

Passionate about high‑quality patient care and client service.

Skilled in multitasking and staying calm under pressure.

Strong communicator with excellent people skills.

Dedicated to ongoing professional development.

Organized, detail‑oriented, and reliable.

Team player who embodies professionalism and kindness.
