Project Manager - REMOTE

Are you a Project Manager with 7+ years of experience in delivering large scale technology projects, leading project and program control functions across complex initiatives? Our large public insurance organization is looking for a Project Manager for a 12 month fully remote contract.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of this role include successful delivery of projects across scope; schedule, and budget, providing overall governance to processes and major programs functions, financial management, work plan management, documentation management, quality management, and the consistent application of methodologies, standards, and best practices across the program portfolio.

Qualifications

1. 7-10 years of progressive experience in delivering large scale technology projects, leading project and program control functions across complex initiatives, including end-to-end planning and execution, advanced financial forecasting, budget and cost management, and performance analysis, with a demonstrated ability to establish and continuously improve governance, reporting, and controls that enable early variance identification and support executive decision-making.

2.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, designation, or equivalent.

3.Experience working within a Project Management Office

(PMO).

4.Advanced experience in financial forecasting, budget management, and cost control for large-scale programs

5.Experience working within SAFe Agile or Agile delivery models, with the ability to partner effectively with delivery teams and leadership.

6.Experience working in a large, regulated or public-sector organization

7.Supplementary courses related to Project Management i.e. Risk Management, Project forecasting and budgeting, and Agile Project Management.

8. Bachelor's degree in business, Business Analysis, Finance,. Engineering or related discipline.
