Data Scientist, Machine Learning - Cloud / Python / SQL On behalf of our client in the Banking Sector, PROCOM is looking for a Data Scientist, Machine Learning - Cloud / Python / SQL. Data Scientist, Machine Learning - Cloud / Python / SQL - Job Description

  • Analyze, design and implement data science solutions, overlapping machine learning and software engineering to build scalable and reusable enterprise software solutions
  • Prepare, parse and integrate large and varied unstructured data sets to build models at scale
  • Collaborate with data engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver proof of concepts that showcase the potential of machine learning to drive innovation and improve our internal operations and businesses
  • Deploy machine learning models and applications on cloud platforms like OpenShift with Airflow, ensuring flawless integration and scalability with Snowflake
  • Stay current with the latest generative AI and machine learning research, prompt engineering, and cloud technologies to enhance our data science capabilities

Data Scientist, Machine Learning - Cloud / Python / SQL - Mandatory Skills

  • BSc, Master or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics or Mathematics or similar fields
  • 2-4 years of relevant Data Scientist experience
  • Experience with common Machine Learning and deep learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, Tensorflow, PyTorch etc.)
  • Experience in various deep learning architectures specific to domains (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, AutoEncoders)
  • Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages
  • 1+ years of hands-on experience in cloud data technologies such as Snowflake and OpenShift.
  • Experience writing and testing functional and error free code in at least 1 compiled language, and at least 1 other programming language (Python, Scala, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of design, development, and implementation experience utilizing data science technologies

  • Experience deploying models into productions as Rest APIs, batch jobs or dashboards
  • Experience implementing Service Oriented Architectures
