Radiation Therapist Radiation Therapy Regular Full-Time

Classification: Temporary Full-Time (until approx. )

Summary of Duties

To perform all aspects of the radiation planning and treatment processes as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist and in compliance with the Standards of Practice of the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario.

Qualifications/Skills

• Successful completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy training program

• CMRTO registration required MRT(T)

• Minimum of three (3) months recent Hospital experience required

• Current CPR certificate required

• Excellent demonstrated technical communication and organizational skills required

• Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills and the ability to work with compassion in sensitive situations required

• Ability to work effectively independently and efficiently with minimal supervision as well as a member of the interprofessional team

• Demonstrated commitment to Person Centred Care approach and principles
