Job Overview

Material Handler at Cleveland-Cliffs (Cannon Automotive, a division of Cleveland-Cliffs Tooling and Stamping) – Windsor, Ontario Stamping Facility. Responsible for moving materials throughout the facility. Self‑motivated and thrives in a fast‑paced work environment.

Summary of Responsibilities

• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and delivering a variety of materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Count weight or measure incoming / outgoing items, compare information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other identifying records.
• Ensure product meets standards, is not damaged or short, and communicate with the shipper to rectify deficiencies.
• Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, or dollies required to move or reorganize storage.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly and safely with weight evenly distributed for transport.
• Drive company vehicle when necessary.
• Fill orders, issue materials and supplies per requests, document transactions, prepare requisitions, compute costs, and keep records of storeroom inventory.
