Position Description
Emtec is currently seeking an Account Manager to capitalize on the company’s momentum in IT service and asset management solutions.
This position is a high growth opportunity that demands a technically oriented, highly-motivated individual with strong sales, communications and organizational skills that is eager to become part of a rapidly growing aggressive company.
The individual is responsible for selling designated solutions into regional corporate and / or global accounts.
Key accountabilities are to achieve revenue goals each quarter, grow the number of new accounts and work on building larger deals to increase territory deal size overtime.
This person is responsible for full-life cycle sales activity focused on prospecting, cold calling, proposing, and closing business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Ablility to consistently qualify, generate, and execute on ITSM opportunities that provide profitable revenue to Emtec
- Consistently building and managing an effective pipeline and executing on each phase of the sales process
- Articulating a vision that resonates with the client and demonstrates value
- Incorporating knowledge of our solutions, the client, and key competitors into the sales process and uses that knowledge to uncover client needs and create value-based solutions
- Building trust with others by acting authentically and with integrity
Must Have Skills :
- At least 3 years of proven software application sales experience and a demonstrable track record of reference accounts.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications or similar field
Preferred Skills :
Previous experience or knowledge of BMC Software solutions and products
Professional Skills :
- Proven track record in developing new relationships with customers and ability to translate client business needs into solutions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in French and English
- Creative, independent thinker with strong business ethics and integrity
- Positive leadership and team-oriented skill set
- Self-starter with ability to build relationships, communicate product knowledge, and close deals quickly
- Ability to solve problems, with critical thinking, judgment, and strong decision-making skills
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to work closely and effectively with members across departments and at all levels of the organization
