Labourer

We are currently looking for motivated individuals to join our team in Montreal East Quebec for a 6 month temporary position from Monday to Thursday 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Under the supervision of the manager you will rotate between several work stations with your colleagues.

What youre responsible for:

• Sort metals according to their physical and mechanical characteristics
• Clean equipment and work areas to ensure smooth operations
• Operate various types of machinery as needed (e.g. forklift Bobcat aerial lift)
• Actively participate in the departments various activities
• Keep your workstation clean at all times
• Work safely and comply with the companys OHS policies and procedures

Qualifications :

• You are professional behave safely and follow health and safety guidelines.
• You are physically fit and comfortable with repetitive tasks such as sorting metals on a table or on the floor.
• You are versatile resourceful and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
• You are willing to work in a dusty noisy industrial environment sometimes outdoors exposed to varying temperatures.
• You are able to wear the required personal protective equipment (mask earplugs goggles helmet coveralls).
• You have knowledge of metals and experience with a forklift (assets).
