Nanny Wanted - Looking For Reliable Evening And Weekend Childcare In Cochrane, Alberta $20 / Hour

Hello! We’re a friendly family living just north of Cochrane, close to Westbrook School, and we’re currently looking for a reliable, caring, and experienced part-time / on-call caregiver to support our family — ideally starting as soon as possible.

We have a vibrant and loving 6-year-old daughter, Willow, who is full of energy and curiosity. She enjoys art, dancing, exploring the outdoors, and playing with our two very friendly dogs. Willow also has celiac disease, so an understanding of gluten-free food handling is a must.

What We’re Looking For :

Part-time / On-call caregiver

Available for one overnight per week (in-home)

Comfortable with evening and weekend availability, sometimes on short notice

Must have a valid driver’s license and own transportation

Comfortable in a home with pets (no pet care required)

Experience with dietary restrictions is a bonus (gluten-free / celiac safe)

Responsibilities :

Possible daycare / kindergarten pickups depending on the day (vehicle required)

Evening routine : playtime, dinner (GF), bedtime prep

Weekend care as needed

One regular overnight shift per week (guest suite available)

Occasional light tidying related to childcare (toys, dishes, etc.)

Details : Live-out position

Approximately 10–20 hours / week depending on your availability and our needs

$20 / hour

Private guest bedroom and separate living space available for overnights

We’re looking for someone dependable, nurturing, and fun who genuinely enjoys spending time with children and can help create a safe, happy, and gluten-free environment for Willow.
