The opportunity : Driven by a highly experienced tier-one leadership team, the ManufacturingOperationsDirector will join a likeminded business where quality, customer satisfaction and employee wellbeing lie at the heart ofeverythingthey do. The candidate that we’re searching for will lead the entire manufacturing process for a highlysuccessfuldivision, maintaining superb engineering and logistical standards, as well as leading andinfluencinga highly experienced and motivated team. Core focus of the role to include :

• Plan, manage and execute all aspects of manufacturing controls to ensureexceptionalefficiency that meets rigorous customer demands
• Design, implement and develop ongoing process and cost control efficiencies assuming complete P&L responsibility
• Manage all aspects of value stream activities ensuring strict adherence with high quality product standards that meet strict regulatory requirements
• Lead, develop and motivate a large team of direct and indirect reports
• Ensure that sound H&S policy and practice resonates throughout the site
• Work closely with sales, marketing and customer support colleagues, acting as a senior ambassador to major clients
• Analysis of tooling effectiveness and pioneering material waste reduction strategy
• Take Lead with outgoing commentary related to site performance, budgets, forecasts and cost controls are concerned
• Undertake a degree on national and international travel where required

The person we’re searching for : A highly experienced manufacturing and / or engineering professional with at least three year of recently gained experience in asimilarposition. Key skills and experience to include :

The role : This is a full time, permanent position operating from our clients’site in mid Cornwall. Base salary circa £115,000+ Exceptional bonus scheme + enhanced benefits package + relocation support (where required).
