Position Title : UX Designer - Entry
Line of Business : Commercial Banking & Payments Technology (UX) team; which is responsible for conceptualizing and designing UX for client-facing software applications
Contract Duration : 6 months
Remote / Hybrid : Hybrid -Every Monday In office 1st Friday of the month
Location Address : 81 Bay 11th Floor -
Project : Will be working on online banking application project - mobile and tablet.
Responsibilities :
You’ll leverage a broad portfolio of work and conceptual thinking to execute fast-paced prototypes and designs that always surprise and delight.
You’ll use your solid knowledge of design tools (including Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud and presentation software) to create beautiful, engaging and intuitive pages that help reinvent the digital space.
You’ll share your passion for visual design with a cross-functional team of business analysts, product owners, developers, strategists and writers who’ll share your vision.
Together, you’ll drive client-focused digital transformation to simplify the experience for our Commercial Banking clients.
How You’ll Succeed
Concepts and Designs Support and facilitate the end-to-end visual design process to translate user needs and requirements into creative designs for Digital Commercial Banking’s web and mobile properties.
You’ll play a key role in bringing our creative visions to life by developing user-centred designs through storyboards, sketches, and prototypes.
Standards and Guidelines Create and maintain the Digital Commercial Banking design and graphic standards documentation to help enforce The Banks’s brand coherence, accessibility standards and cross-site consistency.
You’ll leverage your understanding of visual design principles to help communicate, promote and govern enterprise-wide design systems.
You’ll help source and treat brand-compliant images and ensure that we meet all brand and business standards.
Project Delivery Define and deliver the visual design component (such as style guides, detailed design specifications, UI kits) for all assigned projects.
You’ll work collaboratively with key team members from various disciplines, including editorial content, UX design, business analysis / product, development and quality assurance.
You can work in either an agile, iterative design or waterfall development environment where timely delivery of design deliverables is critical.
Relationship Building Build and manage complex stakeholder relationships, ensuring all partners and stakeholders are appropriately engaged for all design-related deliverables.
You’ll represent the Digital Experience team in daily QA variance meetings to provide visual design direction related to defects and bugs.
Must haves :
- 1+ years of experience with knowledge in t ypography, grid systems, colour theory, iconography, illustration and photography to this team
- 1+ years of experience in digital visual design , design thinking, and Human Computer Interaction or equivalent.
- Figma tool experience
