Accountant

Our client is looking for a skilled Accountant to join their team in Enoch, Alberta on a long-term contract. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting experience who can support high-volume transactions, reconciliations, and month-end reporting.

Responsibilities :

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing, reconciliations, billing, cash applications, and aging follow-ups.
• Reconcile payments at the line-item level and perform detailed variance analysis.
• Prepare journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, KPI reports, and month-end reporting.
• Support budgeting activities and month-end close processes.
• Analyze financial data using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs).
• Collaborate with senior accountants to ensure accurate, timely reporting.
• Assist with process improvements and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
