Designer, calculations

Are you known for your initiative, structured planning, and team spirit? Stageline invites you to take the stage and join us as a Designer, calculations.

Responsibilities

• Support and advise the Product Improvement and Development Supervisor as well as assigned internal and external clients.
• Develop new products and improve existing models.
• Carry out the design process from idea development, 3D modeling (SolidWorks), and factory manufacturing to real-world prototype testing.
• Oversee the implementation and monitoring of projects with the various stakeholders involved.
• Be responsible for performing the calculations necessary for your role.
• Verify drawings and concepts.
• Perform all other related tasks.

Qualifications

• You have a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• You are a member of the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec.
• You have knowledge of computer-aided design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other).
• You are proficient in computer tools (MS Office).
• You have experience in manufacturing processes, tooling, steel, and aluminum.
• You are available to take short trips abroad (less than a week) when necessary.
• Asset: you have experience in machine and hydraulic system designs.
• You have French comprehension (mandatory).
