The program focuses on growth, support, and structured transition over 12 months.

Program Structure

• Phase 1 – Enhanced Orientation : Supernumerary placement with an experienced Clinical Guide to develop a personalised learning plan. Flexible duration based on individual learning needs.
• Phase 2 – Independent Practice with Support : Transition to independent practice with ongoing access to a mentor for the remaining 12 months. Upon completion, you will apply for full-time positions (minimum 0.5 FTE) in similar settings.

Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations. You will utilize nursing processes, critical thinking, problem‑solving, decision‑making, teach, counsel and advocate on behalf of patients and families. You will lead an integrated and holistic approach to patient care, health promotion and maintenance, and provide safe, quality, patient‑ and family‑centred care aligned with the organization’s vision and values.

Compensation

Minimum Salary : $43.26 / hour

Maximum Salary : $59.21 / hour

Provisional Permit holders will be paid $39.58 – $54.16 per hour. Upon full licence, pay will adjust to the standard Registered Nurse rate per AHS / UNA Article 25.02(b)(i) or (ii).
