Shift Manager - Fast Food Restaurant

  • 5883 Trans Canada Highway, Duncan, BC V9L 3R8 (On site)
  • Salary : $20.15 per hour, 40 hours per week
  • Employment type : Permanent, Full time
  • Shift options : Early morning, Morning, Day, Evening, Night, Weekend, Flexible hours
  • Starts as soon as possible
  • Vacancies : 5

Responsibilities

  • Establish methods to meet work schedules
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
  • Prepare and submit reports
  • Supervise and check assembly of trays
  • Re‑evaluate and adjust work schedules as needed

    • Supervision

  • Staff size : 5–10 people (food service counter attendants and food preparers)

    • Qualifications & Experience

  • Education : Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience : 1 year to less than 2 years in a similar role
  • Languages : English
  • Personal suitability : Client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, team player
  • Physical requirements : Fast‑paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods

    • Work setting : On‑site customer service, Restaurant

    Work site environment : Noisy, hot
