Cold Lake’s Indigenous Internship Program is an opportunity for local Indigenous candidates to gain practical, hands-on work experience at our Cold Lake operation. Interns will be trained and mentored in a supportive work environment.
As an initial assignment you will train as a member of our operating staff to gain practical hands-on experience with operating and safety procedures. On-the-job experience will be supplemented with additional related formal training. You will begin in your selected area of employment. You will be required to work on your own without direct supervision following the initial training period.
What you will do
While working under the supervision of an experienced mentor you will perform various duties as required by your select area of employment following all Imperial Safety, Security, Health & Environmental (SSHE) policies.

Eligibility to work in Canada :
All applicants who receive an offer of employment must be eligible to work in Canada on a regular full-time basis without restrictions on their start date.
