DAY IN THE LIFE

• Create and maintain SAP roles / profiles, user IDs, and custom authorization objects; implement and tune GRC Access Control (A&E, EAM, BRM)
• Develop and enforce security baselines and authorization concepts
• Resolve SAP security issues across multiple environments
• Translate business requirements into robust authorization concepts and security baselines across SAP modules and BTP services, with scalability in mind
• Identify risks, design mitigating / compensating controls, and support audit activities; maintain SoD rulesets and remediation processes
• Troubleshoot security issues across SAP environments; monitor and continuously improve workflows for user provisioning, role transport, and emergency access
• Partner with Basis, Functional, and Development teams to deliver secure solutions (e.g., upgrades, customizations, migrations, new integrations); produce concise diagrams and documentation
• Propose enhancements to processes and tools that strengthen control effectiveness, optimize user experience, and reduce provisioning time, while utilizing standard SAP functionalities and automation
