On behalf of our client, Matchbox Consulting Group is seeking an experienced Finishing Superintendent who will oversee the final phases of residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction projects, ensuring all finishing work is completed on time, within budget, and to the quality standards specified in the project plans. This includes managing trades, coordinating schedules, quality control, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Management :
Supervise and coordinate all on-site finishing activities, including drywall, painting, flooring, cabinetry, millwork, and other interior trades.
Quality Control :
Conduct regular inspections to ensure that all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
Team Leadership :
Manage and supervise subcontractors and trades on-site.
Schedule Management :
Create and maintain detailed schedules for all finishing trades.
Health & Safety :
Ensure that all trades follow site safety protocols and that safety regulations are enforced.
Client Relations :
Communicate regularly with clients or stakeholders to provide updates on project status and address any concerns related to finishes.
