Description de posteSet up and operate horizontal boring mills to produce custom, high-precision components Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints Select proper tooling and machining parameters for a variety of materials Ensure parts meet tight tolerances using precision measuring instruments Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of machines Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals 5+ years of machining experience, preferably with horizontal boring mills Experience with large / heavy parts and overhead crane operation is an asset Strong understanding of machining practices, setups, and blueprint reading Ability to work independently and as part of a team Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred Complete Full Featured Benefits Package Matching RRSP contributions Competitive wages Regular performance discussions & advancement opportunity Work / life balance focus Team work Environment

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Machinist – Horizontal Boring Mill Operator to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have experience operating large horizontal boring mills (manual or CNC) to machine precision parts to tight tolerances. We're looking for someone with :
