Concrete Repair Technician - Concrete Labourer

The Concrete Repair Technician - Labourer (CRT) performs a variety of construction-related tasks involving physical labor, the use of hand and power tools, and assisting other workers with duties at the construction site related to the restoration and protection of concrete structures and application of Vector’s corrosion mitigation processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare concrete for repair; operating grinders, jackhammers, and other tools to chip and breakup concrete.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades as required at construction sites.
• Maintain a clean and productive jobsite.
• Maintains simple records and accurately completes required forms and reports as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma, completion of trades school and / or concrete industry-specific training will be considered an asset.
• Previous experience working with hand tools such as circular saws, grinders etc.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to pass our drug screening program (note, we do not test for marijuana)
• Must have a driver's license and reliable transportation.
