Experienced Nanny for Toddler in Midtown Toronto (Avenue / Chaplin Crescent)

Hello, I am looking for a reliable, punctual, and organized full time nanny to care for my daughter (16 months). I am also open to hiring part-time caregivers if you can commit to multiple full days per week. Must be pet-friendly and experienced working 1-1 with toddlers. The ideal candidate will have a degree in early childhood education, psychology, or social work and possess a calm and nurturing personality.

Starting : December 23 rd or Jan 2nd.

Schedule : Monday-Friday

9-5 : 30 pm

Saturday : Optional

Compensation :

20-25 / hr Depending on qualifications, educational background, and experience. This is a pay roll position.

Requirements for position :

Covid Booster new version 2024 (completed by start date)

Flu shot 2024 (completed by start date)

Background / Vulnerability screening (by date of hire)

Infant / Toddler CPR up-to-date (by date of hire)

Pet-friendly and like small dogs

1 year experience working with toddlers 1-1

2 childcare related references

Valid work permit and legal status in Canada

Active and able to keep up with toddler

Able to swim confidently

Able to travel to US and Caribbean (2 weeks in February and 2 weeks in April) or able to find alternative work during these trips.

Duties :

Keep daily journal and provide updates / photos to parent

Feed, bathe, clothe, potty train toddler

Sign, dance, play, read, and do art work with toddler

Follow and update daily schedule

Keep calendar up-to-date with schedule events

Schedule and take to doctor appointments when needed

Organize and execute playdates

Plan and complete age appropriate activities

Take and participate in swim, dance, and music class

Take to library, museum, aquarium, Early ON

Complete laundry, keep nursery and play areas tidy

Top up Yorkie's dog water and food bowl, change pee pads as needed

Use troller and place child in car seat adhering to Canadian safety standards

Good at getting around with TTC with toddler

Pack and organize toddler for any planned trips

Keep toddler's toys, clothing, and snacks organized
