Join Our Team We’re currently searching for an experienced and engaging Science Teacher to join our Elementary Team for the coming school year. This is a permanent, full-time position. The Role Plan and implement annual plans, unit plans, and daily lesson plans for grades 4 to 8. Class sizes range from 10 to 15. Plan and participate in field trips. Manage and guide individual student behaviour. Maintain open and regular communication with parents as required, and conduct parent interviews at the request of the parents as required. Produce formative and summative student assessments. Participate in school events and activities, contributing to the School Community and spirit. Provide a caring and nurturing atmosphere in the classroom and throughout the school. Qualifications 5+ years of experience teaching science. Experience teaching elementary students. B. Ed or equivalent. Educational background in science; a Bachelor of Science degree is a significant asset. Montessori training is a significant asset.
