NetScaler Administrator (Hybrid)
Primary Location: Etobicoke, Ontario

V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a NetScaler Administrator for our premier client in Etobicoke, Ontario.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:
Technical Requirements and Certifications »

• Relevant certifications (CompTIA Network+, Citrix CCA-N, etc.).

Education and Experience »

• Experience working within a corporate IT infrastructure or NOC environment.
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS, HTTP/S, etc.).
• Familiarity with Citrix NetScaler or similar load balancing platforms.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools.
• Basic understanding of how applications are delivered across network layers.
• Exposure to SSL/TLS, reverse proxies, and content switching.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, Bash) for automation or reporting.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and attention to detail.
• Ability to follow procedures and escalate appropriately when needed.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
Job Responsibilities:

• Support and maintain Citrix NetScaler load balancer infrastructure within the enterprise network.
• Assist with configuring and updating load balancing policies, virtual servers, and service groups.
• Collaborate with network, server, and application teams to support service availability and traffic management.
• Participate in change management processes, including scheduled maintenance and documentation updates.
• Documentation, monitoring improvements, and process automation. Contribute to infrastructure
• Help manage SSL certificates and basic security settings on NetScaler devices.
• Perform initial troubleshooting of load balancing and network connectivity issues.
