Robert Half has a position available for a Staff Accountant for a company with a fast-growing team. You will be expected to successfully match invoices to purchase orders and / or vouchers, data entry and assist in the process of Accounts Payable (A / P) and Ad Hoc duties. The Staff Accountant position is a permanent role in the Tillsonburg, Ontario, area.

What you get to do every day

• Full scope of duties related to Accounts payables, as a team lead. Including but not limited to, delegating AP emails and workflow, answering questions from vendors, analyzing accounts payable subledger, performing monthly accruals, processing online payment, etc.
• Responsible for supporting the financial management of all projects.
• Preparation of project reporting : including detailed revenue, cost and margin data for analysis and reporting on weekly, monthly and annual basis.
• Assist in month end and year end preparation.
• Assist in annual review procedures.
• On-time completion and filing of government remittances.
• Bank reconciliations and journal entries.
• Respond professionally to telephone, email and in person inquiries from customers, business partners and other parties.
• Organize, maintain and coordinate records and files electronically.
• Where necessary, assist in compiling data for various reports, including supporting the Controller and management team.
• Other duties as assigned.
