Overview

AtkinsRéalis is in hiring a Cost Controller to join our growing team based in Calgary Alberta. The Cost Controller will be part of a high-performing project team that will be based in our downtown Calgary office.

Your role

• Develop and maintain project cost control systems and procedures.
• Track and analyze project expenditures against budget and forecast.
• Prepare monthly cost reports variance analyses and financial dashboards.
• Collaborate with project managers and discipline leads to update forecasts and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Monitor and evaluate change orders and their financial impact.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial policies and external regulatory requirements.
• Support procurement and contract management teams with cost-related insights.
• Participate in project meetings to provide financial guidance and updates.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing invoices accruals and cash flow projections.
• Maintain accurate records of project budgets actuals and forecasts.
