Upcoming Job: $23.50/hr Experienced Forklift Operator in Milton

This position is starting early 2025 – upcoming job! Must be be able to work 40 hours on SIN with a full open work permit, PR or Fulltime SIN

We are looking for Experienced Forklift Operators who can drive multiple forklifts in a warehouse in Milton! The forklift you must know how to operate would be: Counter balance, Raymond Reach, Order/Cherry Picker, Walkie, Swing Reach

Our client is looking for someone who is interested and experienced in and has good inventory experience with cycle counting and reconciliation.

If you do not already have it, you must be willing to receive in house certification on the turret truck. If you pass in house certification, you will continue at the pay rate of $23.50 for one month from the date of certification for an opportunity to gain experience. Should everything go well, at the end of that month you will receive a raise to $25/hour.

Day shift!
Monday to Friday – 7:30 am to 4:00pm

Pay Rate:
– $23.50 per hour if you are not licensed/experienced on Turret/Swing Reach, $25/hour if you have the experience
– Weekly pay every Friday!

Responsibilities of the job (Other duties may be assigned):

– Operating the Counter balance, Raymond Reach, Order/Cherry Picker, Walkie, Swing Reach Forklifts
– Unloads and stacks material by raising and lowering lifting device.
– Unload containers and trucks as necessary. Build proper and safe pallets for put away.
– Clears production area by securing and moving finished pallets; moving empty pallets.
– Work with crews that empty containers and responsible for the training of same.
– Responsible for the counting and verifying of all inbound freight.
– Responsible for putting stock away and bringing stock down. Assist with maintaining lot control.
– Pick and fulfill customer orders according to pick sheet directions.

You must be able to lift up to 50lbs, though that will be rare.

Requirements:

– Certificated in Counter balance, Raymond Reach, Order/Cherry Picker, Walkie, Swing Reach, and Fall Arrest
– Must have at least 1 year of experience with each forklift listed above!
– Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
