Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 36 stores across the country: 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 13 in Ontario, and 2 in Quebec. Job Title

Asset Protection Representative

Responsibilities

• Patrol store areas
• Deal with theft, shop vandalism, loss control, access control, and other emergency situations
• Detain suspects, coordinate and interact with police and other law enforcement entities
• Investigate internal thefts; interview or interrogate staff members; check personal backpacks/belongings as necessary
• Provide assistance to people who are injured in the store, including staff and customers
• Ensure CCTV system in store is properly functioning and utilized
• Remove any unwanted personnel from T&T’s premises if necessary
• Report to the Duty Manager anything suspicious during the shift
• Familiarize with and enforce company’s rules and regulations

• Good attendance record and comply with company’s rules and regulations

Knowledge, Skills & Ability Requirements

• Flexible to work in shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evening hours, and statutory holidays
• Must possess a valid Provincial Security Worker License
• Able to work well independently and make decisions
• Able to follow instructions, attention to detail, and work well under pressure
• Be prepared to stand and stay alert for long hours
• Ability to communicate in English and Chinese (Cantonese & or Mandarin); additional language skills are an asset
• Knowledge of basic workplace safety
• Proficiency in English and conversational ability in either Cantonese or Mandarin will be an asset
• Possess relevant loss prevention experience; preferred
