Hours of Work : 8 : 55 a.m. - 3 : 35 p.m.

Duties : In addition to those duties outlined in the job description duties include supporting students with diverse needs and / or high behavioural needs.

Education & Qualifications :

• A minimum of Grade 12 diploma from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Board of Education or General Educational Development (GED)
• A minimum of one (1) year post-secondary training related to student needs such as Educational Assistant Early Childhood Development Youth Worker or Rehabilitation Worker (such training must be from a recognized educational institution as approved by the Employer)
• A valid Class 5 drivers license

Physical Requirements : The ability to do heavy work is required in some assignments (ie; exerting up to 100 lbs of force occasionally up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and / or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to lift students and / or move objects).

Wage & Benefits : In accordance with the current CUPE Local 5512 Collective Bargaining Agreement. Currently this is a range of $20.68 to $24.62 per hour.
