Position Summary

The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for supporting day-to-day supply chain activities, with a primary focus on procurement, inventory management, and customer ingredient quoting. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials are available to support production schedules while maintaining accurate inventory and cost control.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

• Source and procure ingredients, packaging materials, and other production-related supplies
• Issue purchase orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and resolve supply or quality issues
• Liaise with R&D Project Manager and QA department for new supplier / materials onboarding on the following tasks
• Source ingredient samples from suppliers, evaluating cost, lead times, and minimum order quantities (MOQs)
• Understand requirements from QA, Operations, R&D for any new or changed sourcing
• Negotiate with suppliers to improve pricing, reduce MOQs, and optimize lead times
