Job Description

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a locum to support the Minnedosa Health Centre. Duties include performing all duties associated with a family practice, diagnosing and treating diseases, physiological disorders and injuries of patients, acting as the primary care provider and providing continuous care toward the management of patients’ health. The physician may also share in the Emergency Department on‑call schedule.

Minnedosa Health Centre is a 27‑bed acute care and 50‑bed long‑term care facility. Services offered to the facility are General Surgery, Diagnostics, Emergency, Public Health, Mental Health, Home Care Services and Respite Program. Located just minutes from Brandon and Riding Mountain National Park, opportunities for entertainment and extra‑curricular activities are unlimited.

Travel & Accommodation

Travel : travel by car is less than 3 hours from Winnipeg and 35 minutes from Brandon. WestJet flies daily between Brandon and Calgary.
