Qualifications and SkillsCompletion of a recognized Canadian RPN programValid CNO licenseMust have a driver's license and a reliable vehicleMust be willing to travel within Chatham Kent / Sarnia LambtonYou must be available to work all shifts and every other weekendSkills and AttributesExcellent attendance and punctualityAbility to listen and understandHardworkingCompassionateHigher sense of responsibilityPositive, solution-orientedProfessionalFlexibility and adaptabilityTeam PlayerProblem-solving abilitiesLTC experience is considered an assetDutiesMedication dispensaryAssist with resident treatmentsAssist with preparation for MD roundsAssist with paperwork preparation (Bloodwork / samples)Assist with liaising between family and MD Assist with liaising between all staff and ADOC / DOCAttend any education / in-service meetingsAnswer call bellsProvide guidance and assistance to PSWsEnsure staff are following health and safety proceduresAssist with any emergency, resident or home relatedCharting on PCC – must be completed prior to shift endSurveillance of residentsUpdating care plansPreparing reports for doctorsAssist with other duties assigned by the homeDo you think you have what it takes to succeed at Plan A?
