JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
- Support the Restaurant Manager in executing operational procedures, brand standards, and service excellence
- Assist in planning, organizing, and supervising daily restaurant operations and team shifts
- Provide coaching, feedback, and support performance management initiatives
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and food safety regulations
- Address and resolve customer concerns professionally and in a timely manner
- Lead by example to deliver outstanding guest service and enhance customer satisfaction
- Assist with staff scheduling to align with business volumes and labour targets
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and ongoing development of team members
- Maintain Tim Hortons standards for product quality, preparation, and equipment use
- Monitor restaurant cleanliness, operational compliance, and equipment calibration
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, receiving, audits, and cost control
- Help manage waste reduction and overall operational efficiency
- Promote a positive, respectful, and team-focused work environment
- Support local marketing initiatives, community events, and brand promotion
- Learn and perform all restaurant positions (front and back of house) as required
- Work in a fast-paced environment, take guest orders, and suggest add-ons when appropriate
- Safely perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and standing for extended periods
- Count and verify cash floats and registers as required
- Maintain flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Step in to lead operations in the absence of the Restaurant Manager
- Perform additional duties as required to support business needs
